Custom 20-HI Cold Rolling Mill Machine

The 20-HI Cold Rolling Mill adopts the patented design by Senigil. Through the combined arrangement of four sets of working rolls, the middle rolls, and the supporting rolls, it forms a unique structure with 20 roll systems. Its main features include:
Roll diameter reduction design: The diameter of the working rolls can be as small as 50mm, enabling the production of extremely thin strip steel with a thickness of less than 0.05mm.
Hydraulic AGC system: Equipped with an automatic thickness control module, the tolerance accuracy reaches ±0.001mm.
Split frame: Utilizing a prestressed frame structure, the rigidity coefficient exceeds 5000kN/mm.
Compared to traditional 6-roll mills, the 20-roll model has significant technological breakthroughs:
Plate shape control capability: Through the combination of CVC roll shape and bending device, flatness within 1I unit can be achieved.
Material adaptability: It can process high-difficulty materials such as silicon steel (thickness 0.15mm) and titanium alloys (width ≤ 1600mm).
Energy efficiency: The transmission system adopts dual-motor differential drive, achieving energy savings of over 30%. The current mainstream models, such as the 20-HI Mill of SMS DEMAG, have achieved fully automatic roller changing (the roller changing time is less than 15 minutes), and are combined with an online laser thickness gauge to form a closed-loop control system, representing the highest level of cold rolling technology.
