Tube Mill Sizing Line

The purpose of the tube mill sizing line is to roll the steel pipe to a certain required dimensional accuracy and roundness under the conditions of a small total reduction rate and a small single reduction rate and to further improve the outer surface quality of the steel pipe. The working racks are installed on the integral base. The racks are arranged in sequence and tilted to different sides so that the roll axis is at an angle of 45° to the horizontal plane, and the roll axes of the two adjacent tracks are perpendicular to each other. The work stand is composed of a frame, rolls, and bearings, roll radial adjustment device, roll axial adjustment device, and base. The axial adjustment of the roll is realized by rotating the stud bolts, nuts and adjusting bolts.

The sizing section of most tube mill is normally the last section before existing to the flying cutoff and finishing section. Tube mill sizing line plays a very important part in the final end product, as it not only size or reshape the tube (pipe, square, rectangles, and etc.), but it also  relieves stress at the same time so that the properties are normalized into the body of the material. By tube mill sizing line, the sizing section and tooling are properly designed and set up, which allows to evenly and equally finish/size/straighten the tube. The cooling system provides cooling waters to all the mill rollers, as well as to cool down the weld seam by water rinsing.
