The arch of Sendzimir rolling mill adopts integral casting and prestressing. The arch is equipped with arc track to fix the supporting roller. All the intermediate rollers are fixed on the arch frame by the suspension hydraulic cylinders on the transmission side and the operation side, and the suspension force is set according to the weight of the roller body.
The main advantages of Sendzimir 20-high mill:
1) The diameter of the work roll is small, and currently most rolling mills use work rolls of Φ63.5;
2) The roller system is stable, and the problem of instability of the roller system has not occurred for many years;
3) The rigidity is large, generally reaching 4440~4900kN/mm, which is conducive to improving the thickness accuracy;
4) The upper limit of rolling pressure is large, generally reaching 7800~8000kN, and the reduction of pass is large;
5) Because the outer roller adopts bearings, the crown adjustment is flexible and convenient;
6) The axial movement of the intermediate roller can be realized, which is beneficial to the side belt control of the strip steel;
7) By adjusting the F and G rollers, the height of the rolling line can be flexibly adjusted;
8) The rolling cooling oil is supplied for cooling through the deflector, which has good lubrication and lubrication effect;
9) There are no moving parts in the frame except the roller and the belt guide, which is convenient for operation and maintenance and reliable operation;
The main disadvantages of Sendzimir's 20-high cold rolling mill:
1) Small openings are not conducive to wear and rolling. Unable to realize automatic roll change, long turning time;
2) The roll can be used in a small range, the thickness of the roll needs to be used together, the roll reserve is large, and the roll management and use cost is high;
3) Using rack eccentric ring adjustment, slow response and low control accuracy;
4) There are few board type control methods and poor board type control ability. Due to the overall structure of the rack, direct tilt control cannot be achieved.
During the adjustment, the two bearings are affected at the same time, the transmission force of the support roller, the second intermediate roller, and the first intermediate roller is reduced, and the control ability is greatly reduced. It is difficult to quantify the adjustment of the plate shape, especially after the 1/4 wave of the actual rolled plate shape appears, it cannot be completely eliminated. The first intermediate roller has a certain taper, and the first intermediate roller moves axially under the action of the push-pull hydraulic cylinder. Considering the state of push-pull force, the plate control is only involved when the rolling speed reaches 100 m/min. Due to the limitation of the moving speed, when the head and tail rolling speed is less than 100m/min, the plate shape control ability is greatly affected, and the main operating tools are required to have high operating skills.
