Operating Specifications And Technical Key Points Of Cold Rolling Mills

I. Equipment Preparation Stage
Safety inspection
Check whether the pressure of the hydraulic system is stable (suggested range: 20-25MPa)
Confirm that there are no cracks on the surface of the rolls and the roughness is kept within Ra0.8μm
The oil temperature of the lubrication system should be maintained at 40±5℃
Parameter presetting
Set the initial roll gap according to the material thickness (usually 1.1-1.3 times the material thickness).
The rolling speed is recommended to be adjusted in stages:
Soft material: 120-150m/min
Hard alloy: 60-80m/min
Ii. Standard Operating Procedures
Feeding specification
Use the centering device to ensure that the deviation of the plate and strip is less than 2mm
When leading into the rolling mill, a 15° inclination Angle should be maintained
Rolling process control
The reduction in the first pass should not exceed 30%
Monitor the data of the plate type instrument in real time, and the warpage degree should be less than 3I-unit
Tension system staged loading
Inlet tension: 15-20% of the material's yield strength
Export tension: 25-30% of the material's yield strength
Iii. Key Points for Maintenance and Upkeep
Daily maintenance
Replenish the rolling oil (viscosity ISO VG68) every 8 hours.
Inspect the ellipticity of the rolls (tolerance < 0.01mm) weekly
Emergency handling of faults
Belt breakage accident: Immediately trigger the emergency stop button (response time < 0.5 seconds)
Roller system jamming: Release pressure first and then manually turn the machine
Special note: Operators must hold the "Metal Pressure Processing Operation Certificate". When rolling special materials such as titanium alloys, an additional explosion-proof dust removal system needs to be configured.
