China Cold Rolling Machine Factory

Cold rolling machine 1

We are a professional supplier of cold rolling machines, with rich experience in factory exports. The structure of the cold rolling machine mainly consists of two core parts: the working mechanism and the transmission mechanism. The details are as follows:
1. Working Mechanism
Frame
As the supporting framework of the cold rolling machine, it is usually made of high-strength steel plates by welding or casting to ensure stability during the rolling process.
Rolling System
Working Roll: Contacts the metal strip directly and is responsible for plastic deformation. The material should have high hardness and wear resistance (such as tungsten carbide or alloy steel).
Intermediate Roll: Used to adjust the plate shape, commonly found in six-roll rolling machines (such as CVC or UCMW models), controlling the curvature of the strip by axial lateral movement.
Support Roll: Provides rigid support, usually designed with rounded edges at the edges, to evenly distribute the pressure between the rolls.
Rolling Adjustment Device
Includes hydraulic or electric lowering mechanisms to precisely adjust the roll gap (with an accuracy of ±0.01mm), ensuring thickness consistency.
Guiding Device
Prevents the strip from deviating, usually consisting of guide plates or deviation rollers.
2. Transmission Mechanism
Main Motor
Selects either DC motor (for speed control) or AC motor (for constant speed) according to requirements, with power ranging from several hundred to several thousand kilowatts.
Reducer and Gear Frame
Converts the high rotational speed of the motor to the required low rotational speed and high torque output for the rolls.
Coupling and Connecting Shaft
Transmits power to the rolls and must have high torque carrying capacity.
3. Auxiliary Systems
Plate Shape Control System
Monitors parameters such as strip curvature and edge drop in real time through sensors and feeds the information to the rolling adjustment device (such as the skew roll function of UCMW rolling machines).
Lubrication and Cooling System
Uses oil mist or emulsion to lubricate the roll bearings and cools the rolling area to control temperature rise.
4. Typical Model Examples
Six-roll Cold Rolling Machine: Utilizes CVC or UCMW technology, optimizing plate shape control through the movement of intermediate rolls and working rolls.
Twenty-roll Rolling Machine: Suitable for ultra-thin strips (such as stainless steel below 0.2mm), using multiple roll systems to distribute rolling force.
Technical Features: Modern cold rolling machines generally adopt intelligent control systems (such as Siemens S7-400 PLC) and finite element simulation technology (such as Abaqus model) to optimize roll shape design. Contact us for more information about the cold rolling machines!
