The main components of the cold rolling machine include the following core parts:
Work base
It consists of basic structures such as rolls, roll frame, bearing housing, bearings, worktable, steel rolling guide, rail seat and roll adjustment device, which are the main load-bearing units for the rolling force.
Rolling system
Working roll: Directly contacts the rolled piece to complete plastic deformation
Supporting roll: Enhances the rigidity and stability of the working roll
Intermediate roll (for some models): Used for transitional support to optimize the distribution of rolling force
Bearing device
It adopts hydrodynamic bearings/static bearings or rolling bearings, depending on the load requirements:
Fluid friction bearings (such as oil film bearings) are suitable for high-speed strip rolling machines
Wooden cloth bearing is mostly used in profile rolling machines
Frame and rail seat
Closed frame (integral frame) is used for high-load rolling
Open frame is convenient for roll change operation
Rail seat fixes the frame and transmits the overturning moment to the foundation
Adjustment and balancing device
Hydraulic lowering device: The mainstream configuration of modern cold rolling machines, achieving high-precision roll gap adjustment
Upper roll balancing device: Uses springs, weights or hydraulic forms to eliminate the impact when the rolled piece enters and exits
Transmission and auxiliary system
It includes power components such as electric motors, reducers, gear seats, etc., as well as quick roll change devices (such as trolley-type roll change), which can complete roll replacement within 5-8 minutes.
